" COOPAFSI (Cooperativa Agraria “Frontera San Ignacio” Ltda) se estableció oficialmente en junio de 1969. La igualdad de género fue un factor importante cuando se compraron y dividieron las tierras entre los productores. Esta cooperativa en particular es única porque empodera y promueve el café “cultivado por mujeres”. Estas mujeres contribuyen a la calidad física y sensorial del café. Siempre están gestionando nuevos proyectos y desarrollando nuevas formas de mejorar la vida de sus familias. Centra sus esfuerzos en mejorar la calidad y entregar café consistente a diferentes mercados. En 2016, la cooperativa creó un comité de mujeres que son responsables de distribuir préstamos que permitirán a los productores mejorar sus propias tierras y al mismo tiempo participar en nuevos desarrollos para sus cocinas, artesanías y ganado. También crearon un laboratorio de computación que permite a todos los miembros mantenerse actualizados con la tecnología moderna. "

Best coffee!

I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and attended grad school across from a local coffee roaster. Your coffee reminds me of home but better! It is rich, non acidic and the perfect way to start my day. I found your bean at Cadence Coffee in Chattanooga, TN and decided to switch to your whole bean, full time! I've searched for the best coffee trying many different brands and origins. I landed on coffee from Peru and the Mayfly Ascent is the best roast I have found. It does well with the pour over or Bialetti methods for brewing. Excellent coffee that I highly recommend!
